On the road again – to Mumbai

London to Mumbai and onwards:

I was delighted to have the opportunity of an invitation to speak at a conference in Mumbai, India.

“Building the Digital Bridge – Creating exciting new content and services for mobile devices – cross-fertilizing India-UK experiences”

This is mainly  due to the considerable support offered to RPPtv Ltd  by the…

So much to do..Such little time.
Rushing around to get my visa, inoculations and all the preparatory work we have had to do for our short, but focused 5 minute presentation.
Many interesting topics to  talk about and this is just so exciting!
WHY have I posted this in “Fun Stuff”…?
For me, it is fun talking about RPPtv Ltd and what we do as a Company.
Content Creation is so invigorating and a totally rewarding experience.
To be part of that process, albeit a very small piece is a great life experience, enabling people to “create their own stuff” is pretty awesome.

Itinerary:

Air India JumboSo I fly out on Sunday night courtesey of the lovely jet in the photo.
Not looking forward to that part but we arrive in Mumbai on Monday September 24th.

The conference starts of Tuesday September 25th: Venue: Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai, India

This will be curated by the eminent Dr Uday Phadke (Executive Chairman, AcceleratorIndia and CIKTN Investment Theme Champion)

I am very much looking forward to meeting up with and building business relationships with potential Indian partners. Hopefully will get in some time to savour the atmosphere of Mumbai.

After what will be a few gruelling but ultimately fun days meeting all my new Indian friends and associates, no rest but Onwards..

The “road” to Ladakh

So I then fly on to Ladakh a 2500 Km roller coaster ride.
The first part will be onwards from Mumbai on to Delhi.
Then the last slog in what will be a much smaller plane through winding valleys. These are all very early morning flights but who worries about all that when on such an adventure.

I am very privileged indeed to be visiting the…

Druk White Lotus School

Whom I have been very lucky to have been part of a sponsorship scheme during the last few years.

Bags packed ready to go.

Clothes, toothbrush, cameras/Macbook Pro, and my GoPro Hero 2 for the trip up in the nountains.
Cannot wait – will keep you all posted!!!

We are an award-winning project, inspired by the vision of His Holiness Gyalwang Drukpa, a spiritual leader of Ladakh. Our school offers an education that grounds students firmly in their own culture and equips them to thrive in the modern world.
